Cedric Honings

At a young age, Cedric Honings discovered various instruments, but it was the tender voice of the guitar that appealed to him. The variety of colors and sounds fascinated him, and it was from then on that the instrument captured his heart. He embraced the instrument and it became his own voice.
Despite his young age, he won both first prize in the Princess Christina Competition, the Brussels International Guitar Festival, Antwerp Guitar Festival....
He received several scholarships to study at the International Summer Academy, Mozarteum Salzburg, and the Musíca enCompostela. He also took guitar lessons at the Conservatory of Maastricht in the Young Talent class.
In 2022, Cedric graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with Antigoni Goni.
He also has an impressive list of master classes to his credit; with Pepe Romero, Ricardo Gallén, Zoran Dukić, Judicaël Perroy, Roberto Aussel, Odaïr Assad, Carlo Marchione, Tilman Hoppstock, Eliot Fisk and many others.
Cedric has performed in the United States, Poland, Germany, Italy, France, Luxembourg, Spain, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands... He has played guitar concertos with SymphoniaASSAI, La Passione, Mechels Kamerorkest, LOJM and Koninklijke Harmonie Peer. Some professional highlights were his performance with Isabelle Beernaert's dance company at Koninklijk Theater Carré, Amsterdam and a sold-out concert at Rotonde Suzanne Bertouille, BOZAR. "Cedric Honings has everything to grow into one of the all-time greats", dixit BOZAR. In 2015, Cedric recorded his first CD in London.
