Dear all, It is with great pleasure, joy, and true pride that I invite young guitarists from around the world to this eighteenth edition of the Volterra Project, Summer Guitar Institute: join us for ten days of intense work and creative learning in one of the most enchanting and inspiring settings of the world!

Three scholarships are available:
Stuart Weber scholarship (1 scholarship for U.S.A. resident)
George Karagiozis/Manolis Hadjiemmanouil scholarship (2 international scholarships)
Please, read carefully the following:
Applicants under 18 years of age can be accepted on an exceptional basis. Parent or guardian permission is required IN ADDITION to the online application below. Please DOWNLOAD and sign the permission form, and send us a scanned copy by email.
Do not wait too long to send your application: acceptance decisions will be issued upon reception of every application;
In case an application will not be considered successful, a reserve list will be constituted;
After April 30th no new inscription will be possible anymore and only the reserve list will be considered;
Only 12 full participants (including the two scholarships) will be accepted;
Acceptance decisions will be based on the review of your application, with special attention to the bio, the repertoire, and the motivation letter. If you wish, these three fields can be sent via email to email@example.com. In this case, please do not forget to indicate "sent by email" in the relevant field of the application form.
Release and Waiver agreement
In consideration of being afforded the opportunity to participate in THE VOLTERRA GUITAR PROJECT, it is hereby acknowledged:
1. I am solely responsible for the safety of my personal items, instruments, and equipment at all times. THE VOLTERRA GUITAR PROJECT, its agents, sponsors, or venues will not be held responsible for missing, broken, stolen, or lost items and equipment;
2. I understand that Antigoni Goni, and THE VOLTERRA GUITAR PROJECT reserves the right to refuse admission or dismiss any person whose conduct is deemed by Antigoni Goni to be disorderly or disruptive, or who otherwise fails to act in a professional manner consistent with expectations of Antigoni Goni. If such circumstance should arise where I am dismissed from THE VOLTERRA GUITAR PROJECT, I understand that I am not entitled to a refund of any portion of the participation fee;
3. I agree to fully assume all risks and responsibility for all liabilities of any kind including accidents, illness, loss of personal property, and incidental to my participation in THE VOLTERRA GUITAR PROJECT. VOLTERRA GUITAR PROJECT and its agents are not responsible for any damages or claims resulting from participation in THE VOLTERRA GUITAR PROJECT or ancillary thereto. As such, I hereby release and agree to indemnify and hold THE VOLTERRA GUITAR PROJECT, its agents, and representatives harmless against any and all claims arising directly or indirectly from THE VOLTERRA GUITAR PROJECT.
I understand in the event that THE VOLTERRA GUITAR PROJECT is delayed, rescheduled, or canceled due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to, adverse weather, acts of war, acts of God, THE VOLTERRA GUITAR PROJECT and its agents, sponsors, and venues will be held harmless.†
I hereby grant permission to the Volterra Projectfor the use of the photograph(s), audio and/or video recordings or any other media images, footage, or other material produced during the workshop in any presentation of any and all kind whatsoever. I understand that I may revoke this authorization at any time by notifying the Volterra Project in writing. The revocation will not affect any actions taken before the receipt of this written notification. Images will be stored in a secure location and only authorized staff will have access to them.
