From the ancient villanellas to the tarantellas, up to the famous melodies and verses of the great authors of the nineteenth century, the Duo Isolani takes the audience on a musical journey into the popular and classical Neapolitan tradition.
Through minimalist yet expressive arrangements for voice and guitar, the siblings breathe fresh life into these songs. Their refined interplay and heartfelt interpretations reflect years of study, performance, and a shared passion for this music. Each piece is enriched by their research into the historical and cultural contexts of the works, creating a bridge between the past and present.
Active since 2018, siblings Luca and Irene Isolani have taken part in festivals and cultural events in Italy, Belgium, France, Denmark and Russia. Their performance are not just concerts but a celebration of Naples, its dialect, and its music’s enduring vitality.
