Every year, the Volterra Project introduces the annual showcase of  exceptionally talented alumi. This year we are proud to present :

Eleonora Perretta

Picture
Eleonora Perretta is a classical guitarist born in 1995 in Naples, Italy.
She won prizes in National and International Guitar Competitions, such as the First Price at Mottola Festival International Competition and Eduguitar International Guitar Competition; the Second price at Uppsala International Guitar Competition and Fiuggi Guitar Festival Competition; the Third Price at Forum Gitarre Wien and Altamira Gorizia International Guitar Competition; the Special Edition Price at Koblenz International Guitar Competition.
In 2018 she graduated from the Conservatory of Music San Pietro a Majella of Naples with Summa cum Laude, led by M° Vincenzo Amabile (Bachelor's Degree in Classical Guitar).
In 2022 she graduated from the Conservatory of Music Domenico Cimarosa of Avellino with Summa cum Laude, led by M° Aniello Desiderio (Master’s Degree in Classical Guitar).
She is currently enrolled on a Master Degree at the Conservatory of Music Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel, under the direction of M° Antigoni Goni.
She attended an Advance Course with M° Aniello Desiderio at Stefano Strata Academy in Pisa and Advanced Courses at Segovia Guitar Academy in Pordenone (Italy), with M° Paolo Pegoraro.
Eleonora Perretta performed as a recitalist in some of the most important international theaters including Vienna Musikverein Concert Hall (Austria), Tallinn Philharmonic ConcertHall (Estonia), Guitart Festival (Bulgaria), Segovia Guitar Festival (Italia), Mottola International Guitar Festival (Italy), Ravello Festival (Italy), Basilica Reale Pontificia San Francesco da Paola (Italy).
She has participated in masterclasses with David Russell, Antigoni Goni, Anabel Montesinos, Carlo Marchione, Paolo Pegoraro, Marco Tamayo, Aniello Desiderio, Rafael Aguirre, Thomas Offermann, Alfred Eickholt, Costas Cotsiolis, Matthew McAllister and Marco Caiazza.
